Thanks. What about the information in the Parents column? Could someone clarify what is said after Bassilii Kutyk's name. I have a pretty good understanding of the mother's information but am not sure about the father's.

The child was illegitimate
Because Basili Kutiuk, a farmer, was married to another lady with a corresponding record made in Volume IV, page 2.

I am also researching the name SIKORSKI in the same area. My grandmothers maided name was SIKORSKI. She was from a parrish just 2KM from yours-KRZYWCZE. I think you will also find the name FEDEROWICZ there also.

IreneLviv, again, thanks for your help. That information is most helpful as I obviously was making the wrong assumption. I have hope that there are descendents of Marcus that I may find at some point.

hsaw - have you checked LDS films or the archives for Krzywcze? I am just wondering what luck you have had finding information on Sikorski. I tried the LDS films for Korolowka (Skoviatyn) but did not come up with any connections.

I have the film ordered in. I have not yet had a chance to review as yet. In the last several years LDS has done some more filming. The years now covered include much of what you and I are seeking. I will be doing my own posting shortly. I will keep you advised. Also I was in contact several years ago with a lady in British Columbia, Canada that had a FEDEROWICZ that married a SAWICKI from the same parrish. We think we were related but were missing several names. I think with the new film I may be able to confirm things. Unfortunatly I lost contact with her. Also I believe that the KRZYWCZE parrish existed by itself until 1902 when it was incorporated into the KOROLOWKA parrish along with some others. Harry
