Confirmación-Assertion

My grandparents are native of the District of Dubno, or there belong to one of those 30/40 villages that you mentioned, although I do not know which punctually.
I do not know relatives who have gone to USA.
My intention is to know my roots and that my grandparents could represent registered in Ukraine.
I want to report or to send the passports and roles that I possess to find out and to register his origin.
From already, thanks for his help and for the caused inconveniences.

It is not an inconvenience.

We here are mostly children of immigrants and live all over the world.
With our friends in Ukraine, we try to help one another reconnect to
our roots. Sometimes we have language problems, but that does not
stop us.

Your Grandparents' documents belong to you and your children.

Do not send them to Ukraine !!!! They will only get lost.

Your Grandparents are already registered in Vohlynian Church Registers.

What were their given names and what was Grandmother's maiden name?
____________________________________________________

Do you know the name of the ship that brought Grandparents to South America?
The ship manifest might help establish exact place of origin.

In early 20th century most Ukrainian immigrants to Argentina settled in Province of Misiones.
The second wave of Ukrainians in the 30's, mostly Orthodox Vohlynians, settled in Chaco.

Did Grandparents settle in Chaco? There was/is an Ukrainian Orthodox Church there.
Ukrainian Baptismal records contain a great amount of information, including name of
parents'village. Your mother's or father's Baptismal Certificate may have the answer
to you question. Write the church and request a copy.

I was checking the documents that I have and send to him you for mail to the direction that delivered me and I noticed that a part says textually in the passport of my grandfather of the first time who traveled:

Date de naissance: 1902
Lieu de naissance: Werbén-Volhynie
Domicilié a: Werbén, pansief Dubno_Volhynie
Profession : agricultour

This appears in the passport DOWOD OSOBISTY that he sends to him for mail.

And in the passport of my grandmother of the only time who traveled:

Date de naissance: 1909
Lieu de naissance: prde Volhynie

The translation of the information perhaps is not the correct one.
I hope that this should help to locate the village. My grandfather was and came two times and my grandmother only one time.

With regard to his other questions I do not know the name of the ship that brought them to Argentina, but if that the ship was destined for the province of Missions, but for some motive I turn away and it ended in Buenos Aires where they disembarked all.

The name and surname of my grandfather was: Druziuk Juan
The name and surname of my grandmother was: Malinonska Kristina

Druziuk & Malinowska/Malinonska from Verba > Dubno > Rivne

Very Good !!!

Ivan Druziuk & Khrystyna Malinowska/Malinonska???

Werba (Polish)/ Верба (Ukrainian) is the name of your ancestral village.
It means WILLOW TREE.

In 1902 and 1909 Verba > Dubno uyezd > Vohlynia gubernia/region >
Czarist Russia.

In 1938 wies/village Werba > Dubno powiat/administrative district >
Wolyn wojiwodstwo/region > Poland.

TODAY selo/village Verba still exists > Dubnivskij (Dubno) raion/district >
Rivnenska (Rivne) oblast/region > Ukraine, latest zip code is 35670.

Map Coordinates for Verba - Latitude: 50.283300 Longitude: 25.616700
It is located 17.6 kms SSW of Dubno, S of Rivne.

Verba is first mentioned in documents in 1442. It was owned
by Denysko Mukosiv. In the second half of the 16th c. the
village is transferred to the Malynski family, who built a castle,
fortified by a wall, and Verba becomes a town. In the
beginning of the 18th c. the Malynski obtain Magdenberg Rights
for Verba.

I will prepare a letter for you to the Archives in Ukrainian, requesting
Grandparents' birth certificates and the names of their brothers and sisters.

You WILL NOT send any documents to the archives!

There is no payment ahead at Ukrainian Archives. They will do the research,
locate all the documents and then contact you. They will tell you what kind
of documents they have, what the cost will be to obtain these documents and
method of payment. An answer can take as long as 3 months.

After you get a response from the Archives, you will then write the Village Mayor
and inquire regarding any surviving family still living in the village.

Do you have any questions?

Name and surname:
My grandfather is: Juan Druziuk and In Ukrainian Jan Druziuk. NOT IVAN
My grandmother is: Kristina Malinonska

Then you will send a letter asking for the information of my grandparents and I must wait for a response.

But as will they answer me if I have not given him my direction, not e-mail or telephonic number?
Must I give my direction to you?
Supposing that a response comes to me on the part of the Ukrainian files, I in whom language I must answer them?
Forgive so many questions the fact is that I am overwhelmed by such an event, he believed that it was never going to locate my roots

Jan was Grandfather's official name on his Polish passport, but you
will see that he was christened Ivan.

Malinonska doesn't sound correct in Ukrainian or Polish. Don't worry,
it is okay. The archivist will find her with the information you will provide.

Was Grandmother also christened Orthodox?

I will write the letter and address in Ukrainian. You will then copy
this and send it from your address with your signature.

They will contact you by post using Ukrainian. Then we here will
help you with the translation.

If you do not want this letter in a public forum, please provide me
your e-mail address and I will send it to you as an attachment.

Once you receive an answer from the archives and have the names
of brothers and sisters, then we will prepare a letter to the village.

PS> What is your given name?
