Mail sent to villages in Galicia

I was wondering how mail was received and sent to the small villages in Galicia in the early years of the 20th century -circa 1900? Were their post offices as we would recognize them?

My grandfather was from Pavlokoma. Did the letters arrive at a bigger town such as Dynow and then delivered to Pavlokoma?
