I would like to search my ancestry in Ukraine, i have contacted the archive center of Zakarpatska ( Uzghorod) since 6 months and i have not answers.
i write to village since end december also i have not answer.

Has you a person who has a contact to this archive with workers of searchers.
how many times for archives in Ukraine answer at your request.
When begin their archives of this région.
Someone has you answer of this center and genealogic work obtain by this archiv center.

The Zakarpatska Region is probably one of the most difficult
searches.

Where EXACTLY did your family come from? When did they
emigrate and where did they settle upon immigration? What
religion did family practice?

Archives in Uzhorod has limited Genealogy Records.

My family history is complicated, it is my grand-mother Marie SEMAK or SEMAKOVA, who was emigrate to France.
In his papers, she entered to France ( town of MAING, North of France) in 1938, his paper say his residence since age of 15 years.
But she say that she entered in 1926 with his uncle and aunt, it is possible that she return in your land while several years.
She is catholic and she born on the first september 1919 in Bilky ( Czechoslovakia), this daughter of Jan SEMAK and Magda KEBELESOVA.
I think that Bilky is in Ukraine Zakarpatska region ( at 20 km ( 13 miles) of west of Chust), it don' t exist today in Czech republic and Slovakia, and a personn look at of old register of Austrian hungary, she find just a Bilky in slovakia.
My grand-mother make a trip in USSR, and she don't remenber what she visited, i think that she has visinting your family after second world war.
Has you track for my researchs?
when begin and close the archives ( date) of this region ? and it depending of Uzghorod archive of Berehove archive?
I have sending a mail at Uzghorod since july 2007, and i have not answer, do i writing by post for a answer?

Your ancestral selo is located 12 miles NW of Khust/Chust & 4 miles E of Irshava.

1900 - Bilke > Bereg megye > Karpatalja > Hungary
1930 - Bilky > Subcarpathia > Czechoslovakia

The Archives in Uzhorod will be of no help to you.

The records you are looking for are either in Berehove Archives or
maybe still in RAHS (District Archives)??? I think LDS has copied
old census records for Berehove???

To whom did you write in Bilky? Did you use Ukrainian to communicate.
At the local level this is best.
