well i am on my lunch right now but thought i'd type you some info that i received
A.E.F. D.P. REGISTRATION RECORD (2 copies) it appears my maternal grandmother completed them sep 3 1945, it shows my greatgrandfather as ivan lantuch and my greatgrandmother as hanna kornijenko (that was printed letters on one form the other form was written) kornyenko.
both forms show 4 dependents (which we know as my aunts and uncle are in contact with my mom still to this day)
they show my grandmothers date of birth as dec 6 1912, her place of birth as molodovo ukraina, one form has it left that way the other crossed out and poland written beside it.
it says (19) amount and kind of currency in your possession, it shows 440 mks (what would that have been?)
another document shows the heading international refugee organization, resettlement movement to canada
sailing ex bremerhave on s.s. goya feb 7th 1951 (this info we did already know)

i have a listing with names that says "list of current cases held by hq b.z.d. (child tracing branch as at aug 1 1949 for transmital to hq u.s. zone (child search branch) on that list it only shows my mother and oddly all nationalities are polish, lithuanian, unknown, undetermined, my mom's was undetermined

i also have a clearance form for an unaccompanied child dated may 13, 1948
i have more but some are in german plus my lunch is just about over.
