CHEMELIVKA = Khmelivka, one and the same.

Bare in mind that there are many selo/village èÍÅ̦×ËÁ in Ukraine.
The one in Volodymir-Volinsky raion/district (formerly kreis) still exists.

Any same named village right below Lviv would have been in Galicia/Halyczyna.

Question Families from Elizabetpol and Kamelowka

Now that I've found the villages, wondering about information on the family members:

Efrom Hundt was from Kamelowka, at age 5 he went into foster care.

He married Leokadia Knull and raised their 6 children (Edmund, Elsa, Otto, Helga, Herman and Gertrud) in Elizabetpol.

They escaped to Lodz area during the war and came to the US around 1952.
