It took a while to ascertain that Kulczyki was an estate attached to the village, Laskowce.

From late 18th century to 1919 wies/village, Laskowce, was predominantly a Ruthenian/Ukrainian village
w/its own Greek Catholic Church >Trembowla was the powiat/adm district and Budzanow was the
gmina/judicial-tax district > Tarnopolskie wojiwodstwo/region > Galicia Province > Austro-Hungarian Empire.
1919-1939 this region came under Reconstituted Poland's domain. Technically Poland had not existed as a
geopolitical entity for the previous 125 yrs. Post WW2 this region became a part of SSR Ukraine, under Soviet
domain until 1991 when Ukraine became independent.

Today selo/village Laskivtsi still exists > Terebovlyanskij raion/
district > Ternopilska oblast/region > Ukraine, latest zip 48153

LDS has filmed some GC Birth Records from Laskivtsi.

Barb, get in touch w/Alexandra. She has recently been to Laskivtsi,
to visit family. They might be able to help locate any of your surviving
relatives still residing in the village. Please pass on my regards.

PS> The filial Roman Catholic parishes for Laskowce/Laskivtsi were in
Wierbowiec and Mogielnica.

???

As per Ellis Island Records, there is a Michal Dudar, 29 yrs old,
arriving in New York 12/30/1904. He was traveling from Kulczyki
w/his cousin Fedor Halas. They were headed for Fedor's brother's
place . Onifrij Halas lived on Broad Street in New York City. Records
also show that Fedor later was naturalized.
