Hello,
I'm Ivana Popereczny and I live in Brazil. My grandfather Justino Popereczny was from Ukraine and he come here at 1945 during the 2nd war,and I would like know my family members. Thanks. Ivana.

Do you have any idea where in Ukraine?

The surname seems to have originated in Halyczyna/Galicia > Western Ukraine ???

Grandfather's immigration records should help to locate EXACT place of birth.
If Father was baptized in a Greek Catholic Church, Father's baptismal certificate
may also provide you w/clues regarding Grandfather.
