I search relatives with Toronto
I ask to help zanayti information about family of my grandfather.
He emigrated to Canada in 30. The last sheet came in 80 years with an address: J. Kowalchuk 358-360 King St.E Toronto Ont. Canada M5A 1KQ. To 1930 he lived in the mud flow of the Clebanivca Ternopil region. In family of him named Jakub. I know only, that dido had it whether shop, or sewing workshop after by this address. He was the active participant of life of Ukrainians in Toronto. A photo with the higher clergy of the Ukrainian greco-catolitscoi church and note about it in a newspaper were saved. 1930 wies/village Klebanivka was primarily a Ruthenian/Ukrainian village w/its own GC Church >
Zbaraz was the powiat/administrative district and Nowe Selo was the gmina/judicial-tax district > Ternopilskie Wojiwodstwo > Galicia > Reconstituted Poland. Previously, from late 18th century to 1919 Klebanivka w/same district > Ternopilskie Wojiwodstwo > Galicia Province, administered by ethnic Poles for the Austro-Hungarian Empire. _________________________________________________________________________________ There are only six Kowalchuk's listed in Toronto.
