Hi, What is your favourite dish?
I used to love only own national food:Pelmeni, Borsch, Salo, boiled potato (cold) with Mayonnaise...before coming to the Middle East and trying so much of other stuff. Now I love all kinds of Spicy Indian, Arabic Hummus and Kaboos, Shawarma, Tarbooche, any sea food in Chinese sweet and sour sauce. My God! there is such a variety here! Sometimes I feel there are more restaurants here than the people themselves.
And what is your favourite dish or kind of food? Do you like trying new dishes or experimenting with food: mixing one Abrakadabra with another and waiting what will happen?
Let's discuss...
Marina

Hi Marina..

Your observations on foreign cuisines are excellent..I think people can approach and discover the richness of other cultures by simply exploring cuisines..
I have worked with food & Beverages most of my life and have gotten an insight into so many cultures..
The variation of food is truly one of the wonders we can experience while still alive.
People who are not experiamenting with foreign cuisines, in many cases appear to be intolerant of others..
To pick a favourite dish is wrong, i believe, I think variation is the key..
Thanks for the topic.. )

Chicken Paparikas with dumplings. Home made smoked kolbasz (wurst) with lot's of papaprika and spice with fresh bread. Raspberry strudel with whipped cream or ice cream. This is torture. Enough already.
