Ever wanted to make your very own home made Bailey's Irish Cream but don't know how?

Well now you can.
Here's what you need:

1 c Light cream
1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 2/3 c Irish Whiskey
1 ts Instant coffee
2 tb Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Almond extract

Combine all the ingredients in a blender set on high
speed for 30 seconds. Bottle in a tightly sealed container
and refrigerate. The liqueur will keep for at least 2
months if kept cool. Be sure to shake the bottle well
before serving.
Makes 4 cups.

Enjoy.

Doc you strike me as being someone who would cut out the middle man ie, the chocalate, and just drink the Jameson,s.

I might try and make that D.V. ta for the recipe

Have you tried mixing phosphoric acid, caffeine and Coke Candy canes in a blender?
Try it and let me know if it tastes like Coca Cola.

No worries forest.
Always glad to share recipes.

If you've got some Ukranian recipes to share, please post some.
I would love to give it a try.

Talking Dr_Watson...thanks for the links

But i should have been more specific.
Actually, i was looking for self-styled traditional family Ukranian recipes
(If anyone is willing to share).

The Ukrainian Borshch recipe from the geocities website looks delicious though.
I think i might give that a try.
And it looks easy to cook.
Oddly enough, many Russians claim it originated from their country.
I've also heard the Poles claiming the same thing.

I eat Borsht whenever I visit the relatives in Ukraine, and they think I am odd because I eat it with out the Sour cream being added . [Smetana] Its not the Cream its how it alters the colour that puts me off .

Laughed at that one Doc. Chicken Tikka Masala Britains number one favourite dish. Never tried it but I also read it had overtaken Fish and Chips as the favourite . Funnily enough its unknown in India. Heard it was concocted in Luton.

Solyanka Okroshko! ,whats that then Doc , Salt bread or something ?. I am not one for tinned soup but I can reccomend Heinz Big soup Lamb Hot Pot , and every tin you buy the profits help to get rid of George Bush.

Smetana reminds me of this resturant I went to in Tallinn Estonia , The Schooner it was called .It was a set dinner and the first course was a plate of Tomatoes covered in Smetana, I thought ugh I can,t eat that ,But I was with a friend of my cousin and another couple and did not want to appear ignorant and it reflecting on my cousin, so I decided to tuck in . It was delicious . It was followed by Pork with a Sage and Apple stuffing and Caramelised Onions , with all the trimmings, followed by A sweet of wild berry Strudel . we had Wine and beer took all afternoon to eat it and loads of chat. It was a few years ago but I paid the bill and got change out of Ten quid. maybe $7
