Hello,
I returned from Ukraine in Nov 02 and fell in love with OBOLON. How can I get it in the US? Anyone in Ukraine want to ship me some.

You're in luck: http://www.obolon.kiev.ua. Check around at some of the better party stores in your 'hood, and you might find it. Great stuff!

I am writing from Switzerland and I will be in Kiev in April.
What kind of beer is this OBOLON? Is it dark, lager, Weizen...?

Btw is there something like brewery restaurants in Kiev, that means restaurants which brew beer by themselves. This kind of beer is normally fresh and unfiltered.

Obolon beer

As long as you're drinking age, you can buy it from any moderately large distributor in an area populated by Ukrainian immigrants. I live outside of Philadelphia, in King of Prussia, PA, and they have both the regular and the premium Obolon lager available as well as some pretty pricey Belgium beers. Beers of all nations can be had for a reasonable price.
