It is a half-porridge and half-soup. Was popular in east and southern east regions of Ukraine.
6 potatos 1/2 glass of millet 150 g of bacon (salo) 2-3 bulbs of onion 1 spoon of a green parsley 1 1/2 - 2 litre of water 1-2 tea spoons of salt Millet to cook up to availability. Add a potato, sliced into small cubes and to cook 30 mins. To roast salo and onion on the salo. Add it in a soup plus a green parsley. To cook 5 mins. |
