I heard, that Ukrainians love to eat "salo", but I don't know, what it is.

Salted pig's fat something similar to Keiser Fleish but not smoked but salted as in a crust of salt in he outside.
I used to love it when I was a little kiddie

Thumbs up I still love it!
Sometimes put it in a thick potato'n'beef stew, sometimes I eat it with bread and wine, there are many uses for it, it improves most soups and other dishes.
Just keep on drinking red wine, it'll balance-out the fat in Salo.
