Price level in Ukraine

Hi there,

I am going to visit Ukraine now in June and I was wandering if someone can inform me about the price level there. I will stay in Mariupol and if someone knows for example how much the average cost to go out dining is.
It would be good to get it in dollars.

Hello kirscool,

I don't know about Mariupol, but the average cost of food generally in Ukraine is less than in Western Europe, and will be less than in Iceland. Costs to eat out vary region to region. I know in most of Western Ukraine, one can eat out very well for under US$20.

We are going to Mariupol in June to visit our framily there.. why are you going to Mariupol and where will you stay??? we are flying to Donetsk and then will either go by bus or train to Mariupol....

It depends on what price range you want. I've had nice dinners with 4 of us with wine or vodka for $30 USD and others over $150.

We have eaten in many places in Mariupol and as far as I know there aren`t any restaurants charging anywhere near $150 and we have eaten at all standards of establishments... in fact the best steak I have ever eaten was served in Mariupol!!!!
