Tobacco prices in Ukraina.

Hello, how much costs L&M or Marlboro cigarettes in Ukraina? It would be internesting

last time my wife sent me a carton, camels were $7.00 a carton. marlboro should be same

It was interesting to see how prices went up with the currency going down. Last May a pack of Marlboro at Borispol cost 10 UAH last week it was 14 UAH. In Donetsk I paid 8 UAH. Something else that struck me is that Ukraine must be the only country where cigarettes in airport duty free shops cost more than in normal shops. 20 Euro for a carton whereas in the shops it works out at 6.66 Euro per carton. I also would not buy cigarettes in the Irish Bar in departures. A pack there sets you back ca. 3 Euro......

It might not be a bad idea to stop smoking before cigarette prices go even higher.

August 2009, I paid 7-8 UAH for Marlboro in Sevastopol. Page Arizona, $6.50 (52 UAH)! Mostly tax on cigs.

Hannia, of course you are right. Maybe Ukraine should tax tabacco more. Can't afford them, won't smoke them!
