Kathy, thanks. I will be dressed nice when I get off the plane, other than the fact it is a 21 hour trip and I will look like I have been run through the ringer! I will probably dress the way I normally do for the particular occasion. I am pretty laid back though, and I'm not going to be phony about who I am. She understands this. I'm as comfortable in a tux as a T-shirt so all should be well.
Al- I like to catch fish, but I don't eat them raw!
Thanks for the input though. More than likely, we will be cooking more at the apartment than eating out. Time together without the distraction of an eatery, plus it is way more personal than eating out. Working in the kitchen together is a "blast", at least for me anyway. Larisa is going to get the full dose of your, well I was going to say "average" but I don't believe I am, "American Joe". You know, a taste of what my life is like, and I will get to experience "some" of what Ukrainian life is like. I'll tell you this, she has been warned by me!
She's going to have to keep up. We have had "SO" many conversations about this, as well as laughs and giggles, so it will not be a surprise. All will be well. Our biggest obstacle will be language, but I still don't think it will be a big deal. We''ll figure it out.
