Good for you Stepan and I really mean it (re: going to the gym). 10lbs lost in just a month, I am impressed. Keep it up, believe me it is worth it.
I am in decent shape, not a pro athlete but I enjoy sports so I tend to exercise a lot. But living in this country I find it difficult to understand how people can live off junk food. The fact that you don't is already good. Kathy, I realize that people don't know how to cook, but is that an excuse? I am a guy who didn't cook a meal until I left my parents (and Ukraine) and at the moment I can slap together a decent meal within 30 minutes, even frozen stuff takes almost the same amount of time. How did I learn? I called my mom, I bought a few cook books... really, not a big deal. As far as working late thing goes... that is a valid excuse, working full time and studying full time left me with very little time to cook and I was in the same boat. Sandwiches were my solution, but they aren't great (processed meat). |

You could eat salmon sandwiches, and that is quite healthy.
I need something that can sit a long time at the office, because I don't "plan" to be here all night but sometimes, it happens. I can't answer about cooking, because I've always known how to cook. My husband cooks too. |

Speaking of expensive.
I know in the long run that cooking will save you money, but many people look at it this way. Should I buy Bread, mayo, cheese, meat, pickles, etc? Or should i just run to McDonald's and buy a hamburger for a dollar? Also, when you eat something at home, it stays in you for a while. I find it if you eat a burger you will be hungry in a few minutes. |
