Odessa Restaurants

I will be traveling again to Odessa soon, and I would like to have a list of restaurants to visit while I am there next month.

Could you please post your favorite restaurant in Odessa, and maybe a few words about why you like it?

My favorite one is Kumanec, a block away from Deribasavskaya,
on the corner of Lanjeronavska and Habbanas (sp?). They have the greatest Ukrainian food I ever had during my stay in Ukraine.

I prefer "Krasniy lobster" restaurant, Restaurant in Londonskaya hotel - with very interesting show.

What are the prices you expect to get? If choosing inexpensive but good qulity restaurants I believe Fidel and Steak House on Deribasovskaya will be the best in regards of ccompbination of prices, quality and services. YOu can get a nice meal there for as little as $5 or even cheaper. My favourite one is CHineese restaurant in hotel Krasnaya because I love Chineese food. the prices there and 1,5 - 2 times higher. Restaurants close to the sea are usually more expnesive with no better quality. there're plenty of good fast food places, too. Mc Donalds' was the first but now is one of many.

If you need a place to stay I rent a nice eurorenovated flat with hot adn cold water 25 hrs for as little as 25$ per night in Arcadia area, ten minutes walk from the sea.

There is a really good kosher restaurant in Odessa - Rozmarin

The food is prepared according to strict Kosher guidelines e.g no meats are mixed with any dairy produce and bread is baked using only flour,yeast and water.
