I thought Virtual Countries was a serious organization.

Who had that "brilliant" idea - to make a forum on Nepal.com?
If someone doesn't know - Nepal is a small country between India and China, one of the poorest countries in the world. Most territory of it is occupied with mountains where Sherps - local aboriginal population - live. 90% of Nepalians are busy in agriculture. A country is very small and it is visited mostly by alpinists (Everest, the highest mountain in the world, is situated on Chinese-Nepalian border).
So who did you suppose would visit that forum???

I do not despise Nepal, if you've thought of that. I just state a fact Nepalians are used to how they live, and they don't need these "civilized" things like Internet (and I think they are right).

===========================================================

Your youth and immaturity is showing again young man.

Do you really think that the company that owns and runs these sites needs a fourteen year old from Ukraine to tell them where and what Napal is. Why you presume to know better, and the motives that VCI has, is beyond my understanding.
You are treated with respect and are welcomed here by many, that does not however give you the right to be rude or sarcastic with the owners of this site.

Remember the manners your mother taught you.

Everest is on the NAPAL - TIBET border, not China.

You are absolutely right - I didn't have the right to speak in that way. That was my foolishness I can't always suppress - sometimes I think I am more than I really am.

Big thank you for putting me in my place.

Tibet is a part of China since 1951.
Why do you say "Napal"?
I have written "where and how" not for VCl but for people who may look at this post. And they are not obliged to know all about Nepal, are they?

Because when I was there, those that wrote in english and any guides in english spelled it Napal. Yes Tibet is occupied by China, that does not make it China, and never will in my eyes.

That is not exactly my idea.
I think every country of the world must have its site for people to have ability to learn something about it. Nepal is really developing its tourism. So existance of this site is completely justified. I was talking only about a forum.

Kathy,

Harsh, well now. I think he's a great kid, and if I can do anything to encourage him to stay that way, I will.
I know he understands.
