Please drive Petro_moskal out because of his anti-Ukrainian and stirring up national hatred expressions.
It's not democracy - it's indulgence - like if you allowed demonstration of neofascists. "Yushchenok", "parasites", "1937 year", propaganda of Yanukovich during the voting regardless of Ukrainian laws tell their own tale - a very long one.
Ivan_Mazepa please be a little more moderate in your statements. SS-Halichina can't be heroes for they were murderers and fought only against Soviet Union, which killed millions of its own people but still fascism is many times worth. And Mazepa - he
1) broke his oath to Petro I (I don't like him but we have to admit he built a strong new country);
2) what he did he did not because of patriotism but of overpride and thirst of individual poweêþ

Sincerely yours,
Olexiy, Kyiv

Sure. That's your right. I just want you to understand me: I wrote that not because of personal disliking but because I really believe he writes all he writes just because he is anti-Ukrainian.
But I understand your answer, for most of all you're afraid to be suspected in censorship (that's the phobia of all moderators in the world). If Internet will be censored it will cease to be Internet - I think. I'm proud of you. You're a really good moderator for you logically stand up for the freedom of the Word. Thank you for that.

Olexiy, Kyiv

Muscovy broke every one of Xmelnytsky's statutes, so it's justified.

Thats why he's Russian hero, not Ukrainian.

what he did he did not because of patriotism but of overpride and thirst of individual poweêþ
He was Ukraine- hetman and the biggest landlord- then what's the problem. His private interests= interests of Ukraine.

Let's move this topic to history forum.

Not me, Benda. I have no fear of this. If I think it's hateful and anti-Ukrainian on the Ukraine boards, then it's gone. Rules need to be followed.
Just ask former member Mike Averko.

Kathy must be a member of Liberal party.
After all, it's your business - forum politics, not mine.

Olexiy,

It seems that you have all the moderators now talking to you. Considering the short time you have been a member here that is quite an accomplishment.
A couple of things you should bear in mind as a member here.
This forum (and others) are owned and operated by a company out of the north western United States. Ukraine.com along with a number of other country forums are open to membership by anyone. Membership is conditional on behaving on in these forums in a way that does not break any of VCIs (owners) rules.
Moderators are appointed by the administration to try to keep every member within the framework of these rules. They are not here for censorship. This is not the USSR.
You must also understand that you have been brought up and educated in eastern europe so it is quite likely that your concept of "freedom of speech", and that of those of us from the west, is considerably different.
It is hoped (but not mandatory) that members here are of Ukrainian origin or have an afinity with that wonderful country and its people. But, freedom of speech allows anyone here to voice anti Ukrainian sentiments provided they are not abusive or rude. Of course they will be jumped on quickly by those of us that are pro Ukraine, but they will not be censored (Dobko please note).
We are here to make friends and learn from each other, so even those that you consider Liberal are very welcome.

On a personal note, whats wrong with being liberal anyway ?

Len

ps. The moderators are not employees of VCI. They are ordinary members, just like you, that have earned the respect of the forum members, and the administration. They are believed to be mature enough to encourage their fellow members to behave responsibly.
