You can make and view posts in Cyrillic fonts in Internet Explorer by choosing View/Encoding and choosing Cyrillic. Unfortunately you have to do this each time a page is loaded. For technical reasons we cannot make it so
that Cyrillic is the default character set.

I hope this helps! Thank you.

Wink Poor Nonson!

Poor Nonson!

He would go posting desperate translation requests each time a great patriotic Irena or whoever)indulges in weaving her cyrilic ornaments on air.

Is he still "ukrainizable"? I am led to believe he's past that aptitude yet.

And even if, by grace divine or any other miracle-manufacturing agency, he were illuminated overnight about the Ukrainian system of cases and phrases; mazes and hazes; genders, and menders; benders and blenders; he'd lose a mamoth part of his verbal aplomb and finesse when deprived of his good old deer native English!

Nothing personal, Nonson

Hands off Nonson!

I’d rather you think twice before having big ideas about ukrainizing Nonson.
He is an invaluable, yet undeserved and fortuitous possession of Ukie.com.

Some refugee asylums are lucky…

Nothing personal.

Vale,

My dearest Ivan (Ivanovich?) Ivlev,

(Sorry, Messrs. Admins for using your dedicated board for non-administrative ends)

"Hands off Nonson!"

No, I won't!
I'll keep laying my hands on this most outstanding prophet (see my recent message at http://www.ukraine.com/forums/showth...940#post14940)
Even touching the hem of his garment would be an encouraging experience, hoping my mental power would greatly benefit from a slightest adjacency to this Man.

"I’d rather you think twice before having big ideas about ukrainizing Nonson. "

Ukrainizing Nonson?! Are you kidding? Reducing him down to individuals like K.., I.. et al? That's inhumane after all, same as to castrate a pet cat to make him behave.
(NOTE: DEAR UKRAINIANS! I DIDN"T MEAN TO generalize. IF ANY OFFENSE IS ASSUMED on the national or race issue, MY deepest and most penitent APOLOGIES.)

"He is an invaluable, yet undeserved and fortuitous possession of Ukie.com."

Sheer plagiarism (although more scholastically-languaged) of what I said elsewhere (see reference above)

Blessed is the one who would partake of a single drop of the rinsing water dripping off Prophet Nonson's feet.

Somniferous, dispense me a holy dram.
