Enabling HTML

Hey Admin,

Just wondering if there is any reason why HTML is disabled on this forum. I don't know if this is just because of default settings or because of a reason.

I am aware there are some issues with enabling HTML because people could go crazy with it, but I believe there is a way of enabling YouTube videos at a minimum.

I was able to get away with it once but no luck thereafter.

Thanks.

We do not allow raw HTML because it can be misused. However, the site has full "bb code" support enabled though, so users can use [b] for bold, [i] for italic, [img] for images etc., which gives indirect access to html. The link on how to use it is at the bottom of every page, where it says "BB code is On" - http://www.ukraine.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode.

We have also enabled YouTube Videos. To add a YouTube Video use the following <youtube>JFwCCL0Vh6U</youtube>, replacing <> with [ ]. The code between the tags can be found in the url of the video after "watch?v="
