HIV incidencein Ukraine

Although I am reading every now and then that incidence of HIV in Ukraine is growing alongwith some countries in Africa and Asia ( India + china ) .

Till the time I was reading it was just a news for me but the reality struck me few days ago by knowing that one of the Uknanian friend I know is suffering from full blown AIDS !!

Some concerns :

1.This might be because of unsafe sex practises .

2.Might be because she wanted to go for a european boy friend ..whom she knew and met only thru internt.

3.No regular concern or health check ...it had a to take regular bouts of illnesses to detect that now she is suffering from HIV ( which is now systemic tuberculosis which can hit brain or eye ) .

Although by writting all this I dont want to depress you all ...but just a word of caution to save some people ...
Iknow this girl she is not a commercial sex worker ...but an office going next door girl who had a boyfriend from other coutry for a brief period....and now here she is 23 year old ..with a disease.......
