Hello!

Having been extremely busy over the last 12 months, this is my first visit back to this site in well over a year!

Hi NickS, good to see you are very active/moderating here.....how's the family?

The reason for my return today is to check for developments in the Visa free travel for EU member states saga.
When does this take effect?
Will it be permanent?
And most importantly, will the staff at Borispol know about it?!!???!!!?

Anybody have any updates?

Us UK residents are very interested in the prospect of avoiding the lengthy and costly visa process every time we wish to visit the in-laws!

ANY NEWS!?!

thanks

David

We are all very well thanks.. going back to Ukraine 20th May for a couple of weeks so we are looking forward to that :-)) I have just tried the link on the Ukrainian Embassy website to the list of countries having visa free travel in Ukraine and it is under reconstruction so maybe U.K will be included... I guess we will have to wait and see..but it would be good and make things alot easier...

Have a great trip!

It appears that Visa free travel WILL apply until September at least, due to Eurovision. Vika checks on a regular basis and new info keeps coming! You should be ok without a visa this trip (unless you have a valid one already)- but keep checking for details.

All the best.

David

As of 01 APRIL 05 visas are no longer required for EU and Swiss passport holders to enter Ukraine between the 1st May 2005 and 01 September 2005

From Ukrainian Embassy web site...
