Forget the EU

Hi,

Thanks to the FROGS you will not see membership to the EU for another 50 years. Who wants to be a member of a super state anyway..lol

France could not keep getting special subsidies so she voted NO and with a terrible economy and high unemployment France will cut throats before it will share it's thin slice of bread.

Remember the French are only as kind as the thickness of your wallet and it looks like Ukraine is no switerland and unless you you bow to FRANCE in EUROPE you will gain no entry.

The old guard must control EUROPE (FRANCE) and god forbid that the Frech cannot bully the EU and that is why they voted NO.

Yeah - I'd agree with that.

It pays to consider the position of the 10 new mamber states who joined last year. A number of exisiting EU members (including France and Germany) bent the rules to prevent new EU citizens from coming to live and work in their countries. Also, new member states will not see full agricultural subsidies until 2013 because the ones taking the biggest slice of that budget worked out that it would all go to the poorer new members.

Maybe it would be better for Ukraine to be in the EEA but not the EU (like Iceland and Norway) - most of the benefits of the EU but without the costs or the interference from Brussels. The added bonus with the EEA is that trade with non-EU countries (e.g. Russia) would not have EU tariffs imposed.

I agree JG

Hi,

I agree with you and always wonder why France gets away with so much in regards to Europe? Putting the United States aside because this is not an issue that concerns the US.
France has shown the ability to bully countries in Europe for far too long and just when the chance came to make it a even playing field for other European countries the FRENCH had to stop it to save there arse economically but mainly I think they balked due to prestige if I may use a FRENCH word..lol

France has the problem with control and power issues as you will notice if you look close. If they don't have the power to control a European country to follow them then it's a sure thing they will pull out all the dirty tricks to cripple them.
Yea it's no big loss for Ukraine yet and hopefully in future they can get in but with an equal footing that does not afford France the ability to rub elbows with other countries that they feel they have in the pocket and a good hold over. Maybe this is just what the doc ordered in regards to SEEING the truth and the FRENCH CONNECTIONS and manipulations to other Euro countries.

nickcsadler has a spectacular aura aboutnickcsadler has a spectacular aura about
Remember that France when DeGaulle was President said a VERY strong no to Britain joining the "club" that France wanted to keep exclusive and clearly still does... maybe France should go really exclusive and leave the EU???...

Blame is easy to see

To blame France for this failure would be a very accurate opinion and one thats interesting. Now the French want Britain to vote as to take the blame away from themselves. They are hoping to make it appear that they are not the reason for the failure.
Since 90% of all EU elite's wanted the passage of the constitution it makes sense why it did not pass. The people voted and they knew for many reasons the wool was being pulled over the eyes. It amazes me yet that FRANCE let the people vote when in fact they did not have to. Hmmm..They seem to be getting closer to BIG BROTHER in EUROPE until now.
The reason Holland voted NO is probably due to tourism and DRUGS. If the BIG BROTHER took control then the legal drugs would probably be wiped out...Hmmm..This all has to do with tourism and money then right?
Okay so maybe the constitution was set up to fund government and not fund the PEOPLE. I suppose to fight AMERICA economically(FRENCH AGAIN) you must have a control over all countries in Europe because individual states do not make sense in regards to FRENCH ambitions.
The end result is the same in any case and taxation kills economies right? The Germans are the largest economy in Europe and the FRENCH are the largest mouth worldwide.
