KIEV- US and British specialists have completed a fact-gathering trip to Ukraine but need at least a week to establish whether the former Soviet state sold an aircraft detection system to Iraq, the US ambassador to Kiev said yesterday. More: http://boston.com/dailyglobe2/295/na..._probed+.shtml I know that this is belated news, but since I had a bit of extra time and found this important enough to post here. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that infact, Kuchma did authorize this sale judging by his earlier "activities".
