Did anyone see the Russian policeman thug, draw out and punch a young female demonstrator in the face with a young child in her arms yesterday in Vladivostok ? The child also took part of the punch to her face. Is this the real Russia, caught on camera ? If anyone feels as I do, I suggest they write a protest letter to both their the local Russian Embassy and to Vladimir Putin, as I am I doing.

word from the russian ambassador to me is that this policeman has been given the sack and charges for assault are being levied against him.

Where have you seen or read it?
here in Ukraine, we have not seen anything like this in the TV news, neither by the radio broadcast.
please, mention the sources.

Radio Telefis Eireann, (RTE) The National Radio and Television Service of Ireland, carried this story some weeks ago, showing one cop hitting out with his fist at a young mother demonstrator and her child in arms in Vladisvostok. Both child and mother received the blow from the uniformed policeman. I wrote my protest to the Russian Ambassador here in Dublin, and also to Vladimir Putin. I received a reply from the Ambassador, but am still awaiting a reply from Putin's office, but i am not holding my breath
