With the recent visit by Our Prime Minister Of Malaysia to Russia it is now possible for Malaysian students not only to study Medicine in Russia but also In your country Ukraine.The Crimea State Medical University is now Recognised By Malaysian Medical Council and this makes it possible for Malaysian students to pursue their Medical Studies in your country . I sincerely hope we will be able to establish better diplomatic ties between both countries as well as in Trade Tourism and Biotechnology.I DR.Rajkumar Have the greatest respect for the Ukraine people and admire the greatness of your country. Well it comes at no surprise if any Malaysian studies in Crimea which by the way it is an autonomous region of Ukraine and happens to have a sizable Muslim minority mainly Tartars.
Regarding your PM Muhammar Mahatir well don't know what to make out of him the poor man has had more that three years of recessive economic grow and South East Asian economic woes especially in Thailand, Indonesia and political problems (Anwar Ibrahim) at home.
So he likes to travel to "off the beaten track destinations" (In his recent visit to USA wasn't even received by GW Bush) to broaden trade relationships.
Especially since "South South" relationships have also failed due to regional and individual country problems like Argentina and South Africa, Zimbawe, 2020 policies may at risk he has to venture well beyond known frontiers to sell ****ty cars and sweatshop technologies to the West

Thanks ricardo for your reply. Really appreciate it and contents noted. WEll a slight Clarification.I am a ceylonese by orgin and a Hindu.My parents are the fourth generation living in Malaysia.Just like me we have the chinese and the Indians living in Malaysia peacefully along with the Malays(sons of the soil) for many generations.This was made possible by the racial integration policy of our present Prime Minister and no one else. We have lived happily with the Malays for many Generations. WE have the freedom of religion even though it is an Islamic country. WE Indians and chinese have prospered financially well along with the Malays who are Muslims. WE have progressed well in Education as well as in Bussiness. The chinese andIndians are not deprived in any way although the Malays have extra privelages and it never makes us feel we are deprived of any oppournity whatsoever.We are all given that same oppuornity in jobs bussiness and education.Even in the goverment sector we hold high ranking positions.This peace prosperity and harmony among the three different races and various religions was possible only through Dr.Mahathir.Though it is a muslim country the Prime Minister is against any form of religious fanatism and extremisim.HE has his ways to curb religious fanatisim and at the same time taking of the feelings of his fellow muslim brothers.Though we are of a different race and religion we are given the respect and oppournity in this country by our fellow muslim brothers.Ricardo come to Malaysia and see for yourself how we three races live and work together peacefully.Now that our Prime Minister have visited Russia and Poland its going to be a totally new era for we Malaysians especially in the fields of Biotechnology and Aerospace where we are lacking.The Ambassdor of Ukraine to Malaysia Singapore Thailand and Vietnam (stationed in Vietnam )said recently that the Ukraine's economic policy is to establish a better Trade relationship between its country and south-east asian countries as well as to foster stronger bi-lateral diplomatic relationship at all levels between Ukraine and ASEAN. Guess our Prime Minister is heading in the right direction towards Russia and Eastern European countries so as to strike a right balance between the two superpowers.Ricardo i do hope with this opening for both countries to attain a higher level of diplomatic relationship which of course has been initated by DR.Mahathirand once you get to know us I hope you will tell me oneday that Malaysia Is Trully ASIA and DR.Mahathir has is way in what Malaysia is today and will be when it is with Ukraine.Thanks alot ricardo. Thanks for your explanation for the benefit of the people of this board.
Regarding your ethnicity I believe you may be Tamil by origin which corresponds to the third largest community in Malaysia after the Malay (Bumiputra) and Chinese. Visited your country more than five times in as many years and I know it from Johore Baru to Melacca to Penang and KL.
