I'm thinking of buying a house someday in the Ukraine.
My question to all reading this post is: Does private land
ownership exist in the Ukraine? If so, what are the particulars?

Last time I've heard (6 months ago), foreign citizens are not allowed to own any land in Ukraine.

If you buy a house in Ukraine, then the house will belong to you, and you will be allowed to use the land on which it stands, but officially you will not be the owner of this land. This land will belong to the government.

You would probably be better off buying an apartment.
