Jean-Marie,

Don't know why Youare interested in Yulia. The only thing I can say that this lady was a lover to former prime-minister Lazarenko ( or very close to him ). She was participating in money loundering schemes for over 5 years. Now she wants to get some power in Ukraine because politicizing is safer
for her to avoid arrests again. This is one of ordinary thieves who make my country miserable and there is only few means effective for such people.

It's funny she gets attention in the West. Well...with her You can pay certain money and get some results or favours to Your business in Ukraine. That's probably why even DuPont Company is so heartbroken about her fate. And others... We often blame Ukrainians for being bribers but usually it's Western Companies in Kiev now who fund all corruption which is going on.

Regards, Yuriy, Des MOines,IA, US.

Well Yulia has a huge following at home as well as abroad. I would rather see American investment in Ukraine rather than oligarch investment, wouldn't you Yuriy?

Julia

JetSet,
Thanks for reply. On investment. Americans like to invest to
the countries with predictable economies or "peoples" like
Julia. It might be true that she has ties to the CFA ( Council on Foreign Affairs) which is believed to have the most of influence in Western world today. So, no matter that
she is obviously a criminal they might dispatch her support
through the media.
On new party. Sorry, I missed that. I am away from Ukraine for another month so I don't really know anything on this party. If this is another puppet party with dummy principles of making everybody "prosper" then it does not deserve any attention. The worse of all that they fog peoples minds with such numerous parties so they could spare other important parties from votes ( like communists or socialists). The thing is they don't know what they are offering to the peoples - there are no positive examples that having capitalism makes society prosper (except few world dominating nestles) even though it cannot be said that
regular peoples around here make a lot...
