Zhenya, John, Grandma - thanks. I am concerned that Ukraine will make it difficult to enter, as some kind of 'safety device', which must ultimately impact on the County's status, forward movement, etc. All I know is that I was accepted - as long as I wished to queue for about 2 hours! Now I have all kinds of questions, but no-one is even TRYING to apply in London - the Embassy's empty! Is no-one trading?, have private visits almost stopped? Somebody tell me that the Government of Ukraine is still fighting to keep it's independence and it's desire to join in with western European standards !. STAND UP, UKRAINE - WE STILL LOVE YOU.

Andrew, it is very strange. Here in Spain the consulship works very very well, much more better than a former USSR`s consulship (now Russian). It depends on what people work here. Really, I cant say you anything bad about the consulship in Madrid. A few persons who make all work.
