Victory day

I am planning a trip to Ivano Frankivsk and will be there on 9th May (victory day). Does Ivano Frankivsk
Hold a victory parade in the city or is this limited to just Kyiv?

I think Yurko_uk is from Ivano-Frankivsk, so if you send him a message, he may be able to confirm. I would be surprised if there was not a V-Day celebration.

I think you'll find that every city has a parade for Victory Day. The bigger the city the bigger the parade.

I'm from UK we dont have any national day. Well we have St Georges day which is our national day but it is not a bank holiday and it not usually celebrated.
What usually happens during the victory day parade?
