Ukraine and movie "Beaver"

I saw just some fragments from this movie. It just came out. Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster play the main characters. Mel is a husband who uses a puppet as an intermediary in his communication. He hides as a person behind this artificial object to express himself. It seems like a nice movie about life and overcoming difficulties together as a family. What do you think? Is it relative to Ukraine and our nation? Do we have similar puppets in our hands which we use rather than bring ourselves together against the difficulty we face? Do we fear something? Are we unsure after the way our hopes were crashed following so much promising Orange Revolution? Do we think we fail again?
