According to the FOCUS magazine, the number of billionaires has reached 21 under Yanuk (there were only 8 of them in 2010)
Together, they hold USD 58,000,000,000, whereas Ukraine's total budget outlay in 2011 is only
USD 40,700,000,000.

Thank you Irene for that snippit of information. Forgive me for linking it to my "Smart Money Rule of Governments" and similiary based threads.
I hope those that have found these comments about global oligrarchy tiresome and nothing to do with Ukraine, will now see that I do not just refer to my own country (UK) or Europe and North America, but that this equally applies to most developed or developing countries.
Countries may be classified as "democratic", "free", or "not free", but the cancer of mass ownership of commerce, media and property by the priviliged few over the rest of us is detrimental to citizens everywhere. Their gain is at the expensive of everyone else. It impinges not only upon our future financial status, but degrades fair government and indivdual rights, our hopes and aspirations for the future.
