Security for Harper in Kyiv/Lviv

Does any know if pro democracy people/crowds who wanted to 'gather' and meet Mr Harper (or as Yanuk would call them--protestors or provocateurs- a pitiful communist term ) were prevented from gathering to meet Harper, in Kyiv or Lviv.

I know , during Clintons visit in June,,,,,,,pro democratic rallies were held back and not allowed to go to where she was.

Does any one know if this was the case with Harper?
