Thank you Irene for posting these pictures. One has hope, if the students understand their rights are being taken away, maybe the adults will join them. I just hope the government gets the idea that there are many who will not be squashed under their boots.

Have you watched the VIDEO? Students were expressly instructed that they should refer to no 'physical actions' - yet they used paper, chestnuts and eggs casting them at the Administration building. Good job they did not use stones and have injured nobody.
Their fist demonstration against Tabachnyk were sluggish and not so numerous. -several students were expelled from Unirversities after them - as an example for others.
Now that the governmental 'reforms' have directly affected sudents they came out - they are no more fearing any repressons towards them.
It is the Intercession of the Holy Virgin (Pokrova) Day today - UPA anniversary. Various events (like marches, conferences, recreation of fights between the NKVD and UPA) are going on in Lviv since Sunday - but any such actions WERE BANNED IN KYIV.

I was not able to watch the video but saw several photos. Very proud of these proud Ukrainian students. It is their future that is at stake.
