Elections. How I overcame temptations of Timoshenko

I was simply shocked with what was happening in my country during the election day! I live in a small town Yarov in Lvov region. When I was going to the election station some men came up to me and offered 150 grivnas in case I vote for Timoshenko and 300 grivnas in case I thrown in an additional ballot. They said that if I agree they would give me another ballot already registered and marked. They also said that could give me 150 grivnas for each ballot I throw in. That was very tempting but I refused! Of cause for me as a student some additional money could be very useful but I feel it’s wrong that in our country anyone can be elected president if only he or she has enough money. I can only hope that Timoshenko doesn’t have enough money to win the election this way in the second round. I don’t want my country to be headed by such a cheater like Timoshenko!

Thanks for telling us about that. I would suggest reporting it, but it wont do any good.

This is a provocation - there is no Yarov town in the Lviv region
And then a Ukrainian would never write 'LVOV"

Oh Yeah.. She's just what I'd want for a leader..

I wonder how many times she's going to get her investment back if she's elected.. 50 mybe 100 times?

Anyone who takes internet accusations/talk seriously must have serious limitations in life. Moving along, nothing to see here. People make up stories all the time.

They also report facts.. What benefits would this person have for fabricating this story? Based on things I have seen there it's very possible.
There's always 3 sides to any story..
Your side,
My side,

And the right side!

Just because the story is "possibly" true, doesn't make it for one worth thinking about. This is a rather serious accusation and one that could sway many to change their votes, change their alliances. It is just as likely that someone who works for the other side, hired a kid to surf the web and post junk. It is cheaper than paying 150 per vote...

I am just saying that a kid with "Vicotor Yuschenko - My President" flicking image, while being a citizen of the USA believes everything he sees. Maybe it is time to grow up a bit and see the world for what it is.
