H1N1 flu outbreak in western Ukraine

As most of you know, there is now an epidemic in Ukraine of the swine flu. Thoughts?

No thoughts, but I am concerned about my family there. This is a scary virus. They closed down schools, right?

Approximately every 10th person is ill in Lviv.
400 policemen were infected during the last 2 days in the Lviv region
2 doctors died in Lviv.
Schools, Universities, markets closed.
Public events cancelled.
Streets deserted.
Pharmacies empty,
Poland has sent us humanitry aid - including safety masks and medications
Today, President Yushenko prayed in St Geroge Cathedral in Lviv for Ukrainians' health.

the scary part is that on one hand you have yuschenko saying 48 dead from h1n1, and now they are saying 30 dead from an as of this moment unknown virus

Tell your friends and family the same as I have told my fiancee. Wash your hands often. Don't touch your face or nose without washing your hands. Breath through your mouth when around others. Stay rested. Take vitamin C and a Zinc supplement.

I have around a lot of sick people lately, but have not gotten sick myself. I do these things I have mentioned here. Hope this helps you as well.
