Ukraine at the 2008 Olympics!
The 2008 Olympics are right around the corner!
Ukraine's page on the NBC Olympic website I just read an article that said 254 Ukrainian athletes will take part in the 2008 Olympic Games! Anna Bessonova will be competing for Ukraine in rhythmic gymnastics. There are some amazing clips of her on youtube! Will anybody else be watching the Olympics???

At the 2004 Athens Olympic Games Ukraine took home 23 medals   (9 gold, 5 silver, 9 bronze), standing in 12th place in the medal count. The Ukrainian delegation will have a send-off ceremony on July 27. (this information was from the Beijing Olympic site news article: 'Ukraine hopes to repeat past outstanding performance in Beijing Olympic Games')
