Read the data they give on Ukraine - as if Ukraine were confined to its eastern part only! Look at the languages they list, and the Russian spelling of the cities..

Unfortunantly that is what happens under years of foreign rule by Russia. Eastern Ukrainians still speak russian. I personally like western Ukraine better, it has lots of different styles of architecture and doesn't have that soviet tint.

Anyways good luck Ukraine in the Olympics.

Ukraine won and they didnt even talk about them, they just focused on Germany and USA
