My Russian and Ukrainian is really bad so I cannot read either map very well apart from the words for Russian and Ukrainian and the percentages, so could I ask would you tell me where on the maps it indicates about native tongue and language widely spoken? |

the first map is what people living in Ukraine is their native language.
the second map is what language is spoken every day. So eastern ukrainians may think ukrainian is their native language or first language but they don't use it, they use russian instead.
