TVU Player (Internet TV)

System Requirements:
Windows 2000 or XP
Broadband Internet connection, such as DSL or cable modem

Download Instructions:
1) Download the TVUPlayer.zip file to someplace convenient - the Desktop is a good choice.
2) Find the TVUPlayer folder and open it. Open the folder whose name starts with "TVUPlayer".
3) Double-click on the file whose name starts with "TVUPlayer". Select the "Run" choice in the dialog box. This will start the TVU Install program.
4) In the Install program, choose the default buttons for the easiest install.

Using the TVU Beta:To start the TVU beta version, double-click the "TVUPlayer" icon on your Desktop. The channels available are listed on the left-hand side of the application. To watch any channel, simply double-click on its name. After a short delay, the video will appear; it may take a little time for the video to stabilize and deliver a consistent picture. To change the channel, double-click on a different channel on the list at the left. You can control the audio volume with the slider on the bottom right.

This player is from a Chinese network. But it has English programs as well. I mean, you would not want to pass out an opportunity to watch Cartoon Network (what can i say? I love cartoons ), or ESPN (Asia/Sports), ABC, CNN or HBO! All this right on your desktop! And its FREE! Recommended for those who love to watch an Asian variety of channels.

How many channels do you get,
I get 33, so ive seen others which have more.

I have 35 channels. Yes, it's still in beta so do expect some minor problems when connecting to the TVU network from time to time. Other than that, the transmission is great. Not bad for a free internet tv program.

Exactly. Besides, this is free anyway and its alot better than the commercial ones i have seen so far.
