Video Viewing
Now that I have your attention, let's discuss Internet Video Clips.
You find a video clip on the internet and would like to save it on your harddrive or burn it to a dvd/cd so you can watch it anytime you wish. The problem is, if you can download it, it's not a common file format. Let's do a simple conversion. Download CinemaForge and install it. It's a free program. CinemaForge - Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com Next go to: KeepVid: Download videos from Google, Youtube, iFilm, Putfile, Metacafe, DailyMotion! and type or copy and paste the url ( link ) from the website where the video is located. Select download. After download is complete, open CinemaForge. For input and audio ( upper left ) Select the folder icon just to the right and open the file you downloaded. Choose the file format type ( Doc Type ) for "Output". And then Output Options "Encode". Now you don't have to access the internet, sign-up for or install a proprietary player to enjoy your video clip. |
