MP3 Volume Increase/Decrease Without Conversion

Ok, you have a lot of mp3's. Some are louder than others and you would like the volume levels to be close to the same or you would just like to increase the level of the the low one's. Problem is if you convert to another format, adjust the level and then convert back to mp3, you will degrade the quality even more ( mp3 is compressed and lossy ).

No problem. Download, MP3Gain. It's a free, and simple program to use.
Open it up, add files or whole folders, change the target volume if you wish, click track analysis, then click track gain and you're done. No loss or added artifacts.

I use a target volume of 99db for my mp3 player. Now I don't have to adjust the volume for certain songs.

That has nothing to do with normalisation of the audio track but more with fx of audio such as fading
