Hallo everyone!
I have a question regarding car export from USA to Ukraine.
Does anyone know what kind of problems will I encounter during this process, and where would I have to apply to start it? I have a dealership here in states, and I know where to get nice deals, I also deal with salvaged and repossesed cars, and have access to every single salvage auto action within USA, so basicly I can get a car for only 20-30% of its actual price. And American made cars usualy go for much cheaper. If any one can help me out with that, or anyone have suggestion, or anyone would be interested in this kind of business, please contact me at:
daniil_karpenko@hotmail.com
or post your responce on this page.
Thanks in advance!

And who in the Ukraine is going to be able to buy your cars. The cost of getting one there would be more than the typical Ukrainian makes in several years not counting the cost of the car itself.

Weird

Well, I went to Kiev last summer, and I was impressed, honestly, cars like LandCruiser, Audis, BMW's, Mercedes600, MercedesG500, and many other luxury cars, cruising everywhere. I have been to Washington DC, NYC, Miami, Atlanta, and many other major US cities, but had never seen so many expensive cars at the time, as I did in Kiev. And as the matter of fact there are a lot of American top of the line cars. Cars like Lincoln Navigator, Caddilac Escalade. I'm not talking about explorers, chryslers, dodges, fords, buicks etc. So please don't tell me that no one is buying cars in ukraine.
I can't explain how they paid for those cars, but there are a lot of good cars over there.

Danilo dude,

Importin' a car from western Europe is a pain in the botty, so from the US. it'll be worse.

You can get a nicely stolen car from Germany real cheep in most parts of the former Soviet Union (hence the Merc's & BMW's) Bringin' in a legit one is a real pain.

Irinka, I guess the dudes who think Ukraine is that poor either never went there, or walked around with their eyes shut.

Times are hard, but opportunities are growin'... How do I know Me company has just moved 75% of it's Test development work to Ukraine. We pay Polish wage levels, so the opportunities are coming.

Love the NZman

i would suggest those with the expensive cars are buziness people and or are connected with organised crime - many ukranians/russians don't trust people with money.

They are a number people in illegal activites all over the former USSR but unlike say Italy if you mind your business and don;t attempt to start a similar business to these people you won;t see them
