I am looking for a supplier of Ukranian antiques-unrestored pine furnishings, and wagons/forks rakes/bowls/enamels etc.I would like to deal with someone who lives in the Ukraine,.as I am now buying Ukranian things but they are in Hungary or Slovakia.I buy containers and want to develope a business relationship with an antiques exporter OR someone who has the quantity but has never thought of selling directly to a Canadian dealer
best regards............dhk50

hey Lips: I am always ready to dance in the mine field but if there is a mine detector available-well, call me crazy but I'll dance to a slower and more mellow tune. I'm all ears, you have a captive audience so to speak..................................david

David,
I neither buy nor sell any product in Ukraine. However, I'm aware if you bring an antique out with out permission you'll be looking at a kicking at the airport and some time breaking rocks. Antique is a very fluid term in Ukraine. LippyChick

Lippy Chick:
When in Russia I had to get a visa that said I was only going in the areas described and buying from the people ONLY on the list-a samll change causes huge problems. The Eastern Govts.,in general, seem to have no problem allowing the furnishings of the average home to leave but when it comes to jewellery and religious items there are huge problems. I am always ready for education-which branch of the govt should I talk to in your opinion. Thanks in advenace....................dhk50
