I see, but Ukraine is a big country. Your parcel comes to Kyiv first, then goes to customs and only after that local postal service delivers it to an addressee. If he/she lives far from Kyiv it takes a bit more time.
All parcels I received came this way. You won't have any problems if the parcel is insured. Do you know location of your addresse ? And I think you could email him as well ( to check address and other details). |

In my experience a package from the US sent by usual post would come within 4-5 weeks, sometimes up to 8 weeks. If the goods cost more than EUR200, the customs will stop the package and request the receipient to pay VAT (20%) and customs duties (% depends on the goods).
