Lemko, Ne serdysia druzhe!
I did not bring Lviv subject to prove anything. I just expect discussion on Lviv itself because this city has fascinating history and Poles co-operated with Rusyns/ Ukrainians many times (including paying a ransom to Bohdan ha ha) but what we read now is a show of stereotype exchange instead. This city used to offer unique cosmopolitan air including its own city dialect [balakanya]. It was an island of different, more prosperous life in the ocean of desperate poverty and fighting.

Lemko, please read again my introductory post re-opening the Lwow debate.

I read what you wrote. You claim Lviv was beautiful under the control of Poles. which is not entirely true because the architecture came from the Austrian era. But i trust what you say is true, friend, despite what i believe.

It is rather a matter for cultural sensitivity, a respect for the past which in the case of Lviv was respectable in fact.
Lviv is a beautiful town.

again i don't agree with the control of who it belonged too, but that is history.
Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre
was constructed in 1897-1900 in the Viennese neo-Renaissance style with much of the city having that enaissance style with the type of pillars used.
