We got the 10 democratically elected the Great Ukrainians, the most prominent people in Ukraine history. They were chosen via phone and SMS votings:
1) Yaroslaw the Wise (40%)
2) Mykola Amosov (19.88%)
3) Stepan Bandera (16.2%)
4) Taras Shevchenko (9.31%)
5) Bogdan Chmelnitsky (4.01%)
6) Valery Lobanovsky (3.18%)
7) Vyacheslav Chornovyl (2.46%)
8) Hryhory Skovoroda (1.73%)
9) Lesya Ukrainka (1.64%)
10) Ivan Franko (1.50%)
So the greatest one is Yaroslaw the Wise, son of Volodymir the Great, the legendary Kyivan Prince who empowered the Kyivan Rus military and rised its culture first of all.
